Julie Best-Clark
MBACP Reg, BSc, MA Psych/Couns, Adv Dip Psych/Couns
Welcome! I’m Julie, an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor supporting adults, young people and couples across Devon and Cornwall. Beyond my clinical psychotherapy work, I bring over 30 years of experience in holistic wellbeing, including a rich background in homeopathy, naturopathy, and Reiki.
Whether you are seeking individual psychotherapy, looking to rebuild connection through couples therapy, experiencing domestic abuse or other challenging circumstances. I provide a warm, safe, and deeply grounded space tailored to your unique journey.
I also specialise in neurodiversity, offering affirming, compassionate support for individuals with ADHD and autism. Whatever brings you here, I’m here to help you feel heard, valued, and supported every step of the way.
I have been working with people therapeutically for 30 years both in private practise and for the NHS, covering a number of issues including bereavement, depression, anxiety, work related issues, relationship breakdown, addiction, trauma, abuse, chronic pain, adoption, domestic abuse and pre/post natal depression.
01 THERAPY SHAPED AROUND YOUR NEEDS
The therapeutic relationship is central to this work. The aim is to offer an empathic, supportive, safe and confidential space where issues can be explored together, with challenge where appropriate.
Relationships, work, recurring patterns, history, belonging, stress and anxiety can all be brought to therapy
The focus is on you as a whole person and the experience you bring, rather than only on a label.
02 WAYS I CAN SUPPORT YOU
Integrative short- or long-term therapy, with creative options where useful.
Julie offers her services across both counties with areas in Cornwall covered: Falmouth, Penryn, Helston, Truro
A carefully framed complementary wellbeing practice with clear medical-care guidance.
